The boy who lived

I could sit here and wax nostalgic about Harry Potter and how my childhood came to an end this past Saturday as I watched the epic conclusion to the saga.

But I won't.

All you need to know is this:
I cried through the whole thing.

Red nose from constant crying.
I was attached, what can I say.

So thank you Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

I hope my kids pick up my well-worn copies of the books one day and fall in love like I did.

I still have to read the last book (I JUST finished the 6th and refuse to watch movies before books)...I'm sure I'll cry, too...I feel like I'm losing friends!! :(

Agreed! The end of an era:( I wish there were more books coming. The first book came out when I was the characters age, I want to keep growing up with them!

Hope you could enjoy it a little too?

It is sad, like the last little bit of our child hood is gone.

On the opening day of the very fist HP movie, my mother took her two kids to see it... never mind that we were both in our 20s and the oldest people there. It was pretty ridiculous.
