27

I turned three years to 30 on January 3.

By the way, I think when I hit 30 I will just keep celebrating 27. It seems like a good idea.

I celebrated with food, friends, and cocktails. So basically it was perfect.

Throughout the day I was overwhelmed by the generosity of my friends. From flower and cupcake deliveries to cat themed presents, I was spoiled by these amazing people on my special day.

I sure am going to miss them!

Cheers to 2014!

I'm about 9 days late, but Happy New Year!

I did it big for New Year's 2013 by going to a big party in downtown Houston with a fun group of friends.

Open bar, taco buffet after midnight, dancing like a idiot, and a disco ball dress [courtesy of Rent the Runway- such a great company]..what more could I ask for?

The last American Christmas

On this, my last American Christmas [for a while, at least], I asked that thing be as Christmasy as possible.

Beautiful tree. Check.
Fully decorated house. Check.
Cold weather. Check-ish. It's Texas.
Christmas cookies galore. Check check.
Giant Christmas lunch. Check check check.

There was also the annual Fab Four Christmas gathering, a short-lived stint with a very difficult puzzle, and a whole lot of laying around watching Son of Anarchy.

Side note: If you've never watched this, do it NOW. I got addicted reallll fast.

Most importantly, I got to spend a lot of time just hanging out with my parents and enjoying all the happiness that comes with Christmastime.

So, I was quite pleased with my Christmas of 2013.
