Want to see some pictures from Europe?

I'll be honest, jet lag kind of kicked my ass for some reason.

But here I am, with some pictures!

I'll do a post for each city...you know, so I am covered as far as blog material goes. My brain can only handle so much.

We'll start of with the land of leprechauns, Guinness, and fields of green.

Dublin, Ireland!

Our flight got in just before 7 am, so the city was a leeetle abandoned. We surmised that Dubliners like to get up really late in the day. Seriously, we didn't really start seeing people until around 1 pm.

This is the hostel where we rested our heads for one night. Best service ever, I tell you.
Our city wandering commenced immediately. Well, immediately after eating of course. There will be a post later all about the food that was consumed on this trip. I hope you're not surprised.

Trinity College

The largest church in Ireland
Because I had two beer-loving boys in tow, it was necessary that we visit the Guinness Factory. I was starting to love Dublin, but I knew I would never love Guinness.

Not pictured: the tour of the Jameson distillery. I DESPISE whiskey even more than I dislike beer. But the boys enjoyed their free drinks at the end while I politely sipped water. Where's the gin when you need it? Can I tour a gin distillery instead?

What I learned: Dublin is known for colorful doors. They were precious.

Dinner was consumed at the Brazen Head, Ireland's oldest pub. Thanks for the recommendation on that one, Sara!

We made a valid attempt to hit up the Temple Bar scene, but jet lag won that battle.

And thus concluded our one night in Dublin.

We were able to do some more wandering the next morning before our flight to Liverpool, but I definitely wan to go back one day to spend some more time exploring other parts of Ireland!

You might notice that my upcoming posts will not contain a massive overload of pictures.
On this trip I tried to live the experiences more, rather than pulling out my camera every second.
It's ok because I have some pretty terrific memories in place of pictures!

Next up: Liverpool
