Today I started reading the most magical blog. This couple quit their jobs, sold their house and most of their possessions, and embarked on a trip around the world. How badass is that?! My initial thought was that I'd never be able to do something like that. I tend to be uptight about work, money, responsibilities, etc., so the thought of just dropping everything is a bit scary. However, upon delving into their blog I realized I could totally do it, especially if it was with an awesome travel partner.
I LOVE to travel and want to see as much of this world as possible. I think it's time to stop wishing and to do something about it. No, I'm not going to sell everything and run away; I don't have nearly enough money for that. But I'd like to be a bit more spontaneous. Sometimes I forget that I'm an adult with a job and I can do with my money as I please. So I'm going to try to set aside money for travel. Life's too short!

My life seems so stupid compared to this. JEALOUS. I think I'm going to have to pitch this idea soon myself.
