Movies that make me wish I lived somewhere else

It was another movie-heavy weekend for me.
There were friends who do the nasty and a certain boy wizard [more on him later].

Friends with Benefits was a good time. It was different from what I was expecting, and I dare say I liked it more than No Strings Atached. But for two movies with the same concept, they were actually fairly different.

And don't even get me started on the sizzling chemistry between JT and Mila Kunis.

Also, my adoration of Justin Timberlake went to a whole new level after seeing this. SEXY SEXY MAN.

More importantly, however, it got me asking the age old question...NYC or L.A?

Seriously.

I absolutely cannot pick a favorite between the two.

I lived in LA. for a summer during college while I worked on an internship. It was an incredible experience. I only worked three days a week, so I got to explore the city by myself and be a beach bum whenever I felt like it [often]. I went to an "industry" party and saw someone snort coke [It was exactly like you see it done in the movies...$20 bill, credit card, mirror...and believe you me, I high tailed it out of there real fast]. I ate In-N-Out, Del Taco, La Salsa, and some of the best pizza I've ever had. That whole summer was a life changing experience.

Then there's New York City. My aunt and uncle live in Brooklyn, so I've been there more than a few times. And what more can I say except...it's New York. It is EVERYTHING. I love it desperately. It's alive, full of passion, and intoxicating.

On a daily basis I dream about moving to both of these cities. It is impossible to live in both, I know this. But how could I possibly choose?

So which is it for you? The Big Apple or LA-LA Land?

What if

Last night I had a wonderful catch-up call with my dear friend, Aisha. She's one of the coolest people I know. I mean, the girl is in a band that has toured Europe several times. She plays the violin and guitar and has been known to sing. And, most of all, she's living out her dream. Jealous yet?

We pondered over whether or not it is TRULY possible to have it all- love, success, and fulfilled goals/dreams. And at what point are you ok with sacrificing one for the other? Maybe I'm a pessimist, but I find myself doubting one really can have it all.

If I were living out my dreams, they'd look a little something like this:
